Things to Know About Franklin Christmas Tree Lighting


Stop by the red-suited man's booth on the square. Starting at 6 o'clock, Santa will be on-site to take no-cost pictures.


The Freedom Intermediate School Choir, Matthew West, and Jordana Bryant will all be performing for your enjoyment.


This year, before and after the tree lighting, Shine Your Light Singers From the Ray of Light Foundation will give a performance on Main Street.


Parking will be offered for the occasion at Pinkerton Park and Bicentennial Park, according to the City of Franklin. 


The 40-foot-tall City of Franklin Christmas tree was a gift to the city from Franklin Tomorrow, Harpeth True Value, Grange Insurance, and Full Service Insurance.


The Franklin Art Scene will also host the Art Crawl that evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in numerous shops. 


The City of Franklin will provide free refreshments, which will be distributed by the Franklin Noon Rotary and the Franklin Noon Rotary.
