7. Grand Canyon
One of America’s premier tourist attractions, the Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River over many millennia. Since the canyon is over 270 miles long, there are many scenic stops along it. The most popular is Lipan Point, the starting place for many bus tours. Tanner Trail, which leads to the canyon floor can be accessed from Lipan Point.
Nearby Attractions: The Tusayan Ruins, a native-American village site, date back to the 12th century.
